just a quick blog to keep you all updated. All quiet on the film side but im hearing rumour’s production will go into plan in Jan 2012. Come September 2012 and i will of been running this official site 14 year’s, where has the time gone? I still continue to find photos on the net and will be up dating the site soon. The book’s going ok,could be better but next year i will be going flat out on it although im in no rush to finish it and just want to give all you Lenny fan’s some brand new stories you aint heard before. After month’s of speculation today aug 17th appeared 2 articles in the Sun and Star Newspaper mentioning a new film about lenny’s life. The Scotish actor Gerard Butler is rumoured to have landed the part of Lenny in the Daily Star. But according to the Sun newpaper Jason Stratham and Michael Fassbender are also in the running. more new’s to follow

After even more problem’s yet again with my email being hacked i have now lost a few new contact’s for my new book. It’s stuff like this that make me want to pack it all in. But after 11 year’s of running this site i dont give up easy. On a good note Len’s daughter Kelly has agreed to do something for the new book and hopefully a few more close family will contribute to. Finally after a long time in the wilderness the life story of Lenny Mclean look’s like it’s finally under way. After various attempts it now look’s like the Mclean family have finally signed a deal. A script is being worked on has we speak and production is due to start January 2012. Various names are being thrown about as to is to play Lenny and as soon as i hear more youll be the first to know.
Iv also spoke to Lenny’s daughter Kelly who thanked me for keeping Lenny’s name alive in the work i do. Kelly also give me her blessing for the new book im writing and wished me all the best. The book is at an early stage and if i can pull it off so it’s has good as my first one ill be very proud.

Just to let everyone know iv been flat out this past month trying to sort out some interviews for the new book i am writing about Lenny. Iv also contacted Len’s kid’s Jamie and Kelly and are awaiting on their blessing. Some cracking new Lenny footage has surfaced on you tube featuring him fighting man mountain york….Ill be adding a new section later called video links and ill be adding youtube links to these vids. also got a few new photo’s to go on the website…..Also Valerie Mclean would have been 60 yesterday, our thoughts are with her R.I.P

Hello Guvnor Fan’s and welcome to my brand new Blog.After losing touch with the website designer I finally got back in touch with him this weekend and have now got all the codes to start updating again. Thank you to everyone who has left comment’s and messages on the guestbook and continues to right up until this day. Has many of you may have read my message a while ago that Lenny’s wife Valarie had passed away. I had many laughs with Val over the phone whilst writing the book and was over the moon when she agreed to write the foreword for my book.My book The Guvnor-Through the eyes of other’s continues to do well and I have had a lot of rave reviews which I’m quite proud of. Id almost given up on trying to find any new photo’s, articles, posters, programs but these past few month’s a few have been coming out of the woodwork so in the next few days will be uploading them to the site. I’m also toying with the idea of a follow up to my book in the near future so if anyone has any stories then please contact me at lennybook@hotmail.co.uk Keep coming back for any up to the minute News’s or Updates….
